Editing narrative non-fiction

  • Pink Shorts Press Shop 111, Adelaide Arcade Adelaide Australia (map)

Find the start (or end) of your memoir. Polish your essay collection. And peek into the publishing mindset.

Why do I need it?

  • Learn how to approach structural issues, copyediting and proofreading in your own work (and when to call in the professionals).

  • Work through what information to put in and what to keep out to engage your readers from first page to last.

  • Get advice from two editors with over twenty years of combined experience editing for trade publishing (with fun stories of books we've worked on along the way).

What’s the format?

  • A three-hour workshop, run in-person at our Adelaide Arcade space. You don't need to bring anything; pens and paper supplied, as well as tea, biscuits and book recommendations.

Limited spots available. If you have access requirements, cost restrictions or any questions, please say hello@pinkshortspress.com.au
